What is NextGen program about?

The NextGen program at the Sophia Song team is a one year, challenging, dynamic and self guided development initiative designed for new real estate salespersons that will provide the tools and opportunities to make a difference in your career in the real estate field. Our program is a new concept in the field where we do not recruit salespersons to make a profit, instead, we hire new salespersons to build up our team of top agents pursuing the highest business, professional and ethical standards.

Is the program for you?

The program is difficult and is not for everyone. However, for those with the skills and characteristics that are necessary in today’s changing world, a successful career in real estate awaits. A successful candidate must have minimum one year of experience in relevant service fields prior to stepping into the real estate business, and must meet our qualifications below:

  1. Holder of high professional and ethical standards
  2. Demonstrated communication and presentation skills through verbal and/or written work
  3. Demonstrated resilience at a time when you were disappointed in the results of your work
  4. Demonstrated strong people skills (interpersonal savvy) in your past working experiences

What happen in the program?

The duration of the NextGen program is 12 months. During the first 3 months, you will be working closely with one of our senior salespersons to learn the necessary skills through various tasks. In the next 6 months, you will be assigned to work on specific cases with your mentor. During the final 3 months, depending on the area of strength you have demonstrated, you will be getting opportunities to work with our clients independently.

What happen after completing the program?

When completing the 12 months program, you should be well prepared to take on real estate deals with skills and confidence. From this point, you may choose to be an independent salesperson or to take a role in our team that best fits you. However, in order to maintain a position in the team, you will have to maintain a good standing in both your business performance and the customer satisfaction rating from our clients.
